THE WAY OF CROSS
VIOLATION TO THE UNBORN
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Opening Prayer:
All-powerful and ever-living God, at the transfiguration of your Son Jesus Christ, you manifested him to the whole world with the words: “This is my beloved Son, listen to him” (Lk 9:35).
Jesus, by his Passion and Death on the Cross, has shown us the way to a new life. Through him we are made your children in baptism and the Holy Spirit.
We humbly pray that through this devotion of the Way of the Cross, we may obtain the grace we need as Christians to respect human life, protect all babies, particularly the female child, in the wombs of their mothers. Thus may we also learn more of your salvific love and grow more in the life of your Son Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen.

How heavy must have been the burden of our sins, making Jesus fall under the cross a second time!
