Hail, holy angel of God, guardian of my soul and body. By the sweet heart of Jesus, Son of God, for the love of him who created you and me, for the love of him who entrusted me to you at baptism, take me under your most faithful wing, so that with your help l may cross the treacherous stream of mortal life and happily arrive with you in heaven where we may gaze on the beauty of our sovereign God with delight.
