Psalm 1

The Two Ways

Psalm 1:1 How Blessed is the one who does not follow the counsel of the wicked, nor takes the way that sinners take, nor sits where the scoffers sit;

Psalm 1:2 instead, he finds delight in the law of the LORD and meditates day and night on his law.

Psalm 1:3 He is like a tree planted beside a brook yielding its fruit in due season, and its leaves never withering. In all he does, he succeeds.

Psalm 1:4 But it is different with the wicked, quite different, they are like chaff driven away by the wind.

Psalm 1:5 The wicked will not stand their ground when judgement comes, nor will the sinners be admitted into the assembly of the just.

Psalm 1:6 For the LORD guards the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
