The Holy Child Jesus. 

Christian Devotions: 

The first devotees of the Child Jesus were the Blessed Virgin and St. Joseph. Afterwards the centre of the devotion shifted to the Little House of Loreto and the famous Sanctuary of Prague. 

Saint Francis of Assisi became the great Apostle of this devotion. 

St. Anthony of Padua, St. Nicholas of Tolentino, little Theresa of the Child Jesus and other saints enjoyed the privilege of seeing the Child Jesus and taking Him in their arms.

 In a vision to the venerable Father Cyril, Barnabite, in Prague (1700), the Child Jesus promised: “The more you will honor me, the more I will favor you.” 

The month of January is dedicated to the Child Jesus. In the Angelus, we recall the birth of Jesus. The most beautiful dedication to the Incarnated Word of God is that of St. Louis Marie de Montfort.
