Who is Jesus? 

He is God Almighty who came down from heaven

Jesus said, “I am the one come down from heaven.” He is not the product of the earth like the other spiritual leaders. He is God Almighty who came down from heaven. John in the beginning of his gospel wrote, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God .. and the Word became flesh (1:1,14).” 

One day Napoleon and his general Bertrand were having a chat. Suddenly the discussion turned to Jesus. Napoleon asked Bertrand, “What do you think of Jesus?” Bertrand who was a non-believer said, “Jesus was a great teacher, a great man.” Napoleon said, “Bertrand, I know men, I know the nature of man. But I tell you Jesus Christ is not a man.” 

Jesus Christ is not a man. He is not the product of this earth like the other leaders. His home is in heaven, He came to the earth, that He might take us to heaven. St. Augustine put it very beautifully. He wrote, “The Son of God became Son of man so that the sons of men could become the Sons of God." Jesus Christ is God who took the human form. St. Paul wrote “Jesus Christ, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness 

(Phi 2: 6-7).” 

In the touch of Jesus, is the touch of God 

In the life of Jesus, is the life of God 

In the death of Jesus, is the immortality of God.
