Prayer To Saint Teresa Of  Avila

Saint Teresa, beloved bride of our crucified Lord, you burned with such an intense love for your God and mine, and you shine brighter now in paradise. You who longed to see him loved by all people, obtain for me also a spark of that same holy fire. Help me to forget the world and all created things but also to forget even myself. Intercede for me so that our Sovereign Good will ensure that my every thought, desire, and affection may be continually directed to following, in grief and in joy, the will of God. Obtain for me this grace, you who are so powerful with God. May I be all on fire like you, blessed Doctor, with divine love.
