This devotion, also called ”A Little Key to Heaven," consists simply of saying three Hail Marys each day, usually in the morning and at night, to obtain a happy death. This devotion arose from a vision to Saint Matilda of Hackeborn, Germany, of Our Lady, who said to her, "I have a little key that will open the door of heaven for you when you die. All you have to do is to say, in my honor, three Hail Marys, every day.”
